Biography

Pack of Wolves are veterans of the Texas D.I.Y. music scene. Prowling out of Austin's legendary Red River District, wolves have begun to make their presence felt within the national metal scene. The band was forged in fall of 2006 when Trey Ramirez, formerly the brains of metal outfit At All Cost, teamed up with Adrian Carillio and Tyson Swindell, of Games and Theory. The wolves alliance grew quickly and in early 2007, POW began running with their self released LP, entitled Wall Crusher. Surviving on successful national tours, album and merchandise sales, and an expansive regional following, Pack of Wolves have earned acclaim at home as well as throughout the Central and Eastern United States. "Drawing on an array of Metal influences, Pack of Wolves creates a uniquely demanding and momentous sound that has been characterized as "Heartwork era Carcass taking an epic journey through the deep south."" -(Zach Marcotte, Edge Magazine) Fresh off of the "Predatour" with hardcore heavyweights Century (Prosthetic) and DC metal outfit Time of Cholera, Pack of Wolves recorded their first full-length album entitled 'Betrayer' in the Fall of 2008 at the Diamond Factory in Austin, Texas. 'Betrayer' will see a vinyl release through Arclight Records on March 10, 2009 to coincide with the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, where wolves will play and kick off U.S. dates to support the release.
